Meredith and Gretchen are in the final four! I've said it before - it's very difficult not to root for them, and part of it, I'm sure, is the fact that they are underdogs in the race. Anyway, I'm just glad they made it.

Lumalabas na naman ang kababawan ko.

:: Good Morning ::
Friendster has blogs. Wow. That woke me up. That makes it what - some 4,324,792 different blogging portals now?

Friendster Blogs is actually powered by TypePad. I haven't tried it - and I don't think I will. I've already got my hands full with my current set of blogs - see the links on the left.

Sure, I only update my Blogger account, but I guess I'm too lazy to really play around with the others. What's the point of having more than one blog anyway?

Hmm... was it a smart move to post that last question?

I don't care now... I just want to go grab some breakfast.

Are days getting longer?
It seems like it.
Of course, I've also been waking up earlier.

Agh... my mind wants to stay up, but my body wants to sleep.

:: Outrageous ::
I heard several days ago that Sesame Street's Cookie Monster is cutting back on cookies. My first thought was that it was stupid.

Sure, I see the reasoning behind the move. Obesity is on the rise, especially among kids. Still, I hold firm. Yes, there are more fat kids today than ever, but that's not Cookie Monster's fault. The "new" Cookie Monster may be promoting temperance, but that's not supposed to be his job anyway - that responsibility lies on parents. Cookie Monster is a caricature that, through his love for cookies, teaches us that "C is for cookie," and if today's kids can't see past his voracious appetite, it's the fault of parents who can't or won't teach them any better.

Watch... before you know it, they'll be writing Snuffleupagus, Count von Count, and Oscar the Grouch out. Snuffy will go because his being an imaginary character could lead to children being unable to distinguish make-believe from reality. Similarly, The Count will be gagged because, by counting everything he has, he promotes materialism. Oscar will likewise be trashed in favor of characters promoting good hygiene and better manners. Aren't you excited about these changes?

Whether or not Meredith and Gretchen survive this leg, the next, or whatever leg of The Amazing Race, they've already won. It is very hard not to root for them.

Smart's 25/8 unlimited call and text promo is, as their tagline asserts: simply amazing... amazingly stupid. The name is obviously a mere reaction to Sun's 24/7 CTU service. You want something even more stupid? Read the 25/8 FAQs.

CSI is, quite simply, an amazing show.

It amazes me how bored I can get sometimes, and when I do get bored, how terrible my entries can get.

:: "D" ::
This entry is brought to you by the letter D.

Today is made up of the following words: dawn, daybreak, drama, daze, drinks, dog, donuts, day-off, driving, department, drums, and possibly a few other words that slip my mind.

Confused? So am I.

I'll found out soon enough.

To those who wanted the tickets to Boracay:

HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S DAY!!

note: April has only 30 days.

:: Come Fly With Me ::
Are you going to Boracay this summer?

I know I am. I've got half a dozen tickets to fly to Kalibo and back via Cebu-Pacific. Yes, that's a dozen in all because of the round trip. I'm keeping a pair, of course, but I can't use them all. That's why I'm selling them... or if I like you enough, I'm giving them away. If you want in, we're booked to fly out at daybreak on the 31st of this month (that's a Sunday by the way) and fly back a week after.

I have no idea where I'll be staying yet, but I've got the rest of the month to worry about that. Besides, somebody might be willing to arrange for lodging in exchange for freet tickets, right? Anybody interested?

So... any takers?
