For some strange reason, I noticed that I had a whole bunch of different products scattered around my bathroom. For another strange reason, I decided to take stock - I decided to check what exactly I had in there. I decided I'd only count consumable products - shampoos, soaps, and the like. Just think of the things that you actually run out of - not razors, toothbrushes, hairbrushes, towels, etc.
Now, for yet another strange reason, I'm blogging about it. I have no idea who in their right mind would be interested in this, but I'm revealing it anyway. So, without further ado, here is my inventory.
Let's start with the essentials. Of course, I had tissue paper somewhere in the room, as well as a jar of cotton buds. I also had 2 tubes of toothpaste. One was an almost empty tube of Colgate Total, and the other was a fairly new tube of Colgate Mintirinse. I also had a bottle of Fresh Burst Listerine. I also found a stick of Suave anti-perspirant and a can of Gillette Shaving Gel. Other items I found that don't quite qualify as essential (but are nonetheless important) are Band-Aid alcohol and BENGAY Greaseless Cream.
In my shower, I found 3 different brands of shampoo (H&S, Rejoice, & Finesse), a bottle of conditioner (Finesse), 2 bars of soap (both Safeguard variants), 3 bottles of body wash (2 variants of Dial and a brand called Beauty Formulas), and a bottle of Cetaphil. This doesn't include the items that I just have stocked elsewhere.
Near my sink, I found a bottle of Sooth-A-Caine, a gel / lotion meant to ease the pain of sunburn. For my face, I had a near empty tub of St. Ives Apricot Scrub and a bottle of St. Ives Protective Nourishing Moisturizer.
Other vanity items included almost empty tubs of Fudge hair putty, Uni Organics Clear Henna Wax, Citre Shine Highly Polished Glossing Pomade, and L'Oreal Studio Line FX Out of Bed.
Other things I had were a can each of Baygon and Lysol, plus another form of insecticide, all under my sink. I also had 2 boxes of matches and a candle.
That pretty much covers everything. I still have no idea why I bothered writing this post, but I guess part of is the fact that I can't really think of anything better to do now.
I need to get out.
