:: Finally! ::
On the surface, it looks like nothing really has changed with my blog. Everything looks pretty much the same... unless something has gone horribly wrong.

Under the surface, things are drastically different. I've just rewritten practically the whole code for my layout. I've gotten rid of the tables, and I've gotten the main blog area to adjust to the size of the screen. Basically, I've finally gotten things working!

Am I right? Say so, or say otherwise. I've tested it on 3 differet browsers; it works fine on Opera & Firefox, but a horizontal scroll bar appears when I use Internet Explorer. Overall, though, it seems ok. Tell me if you disagree. Tell me if you have any suggestions. Tell me if you just want to congratulate me. If you're just going to bash my hard work, tell me anyway. I just want to know if my blog is actually readable.

updates:
- i've slapped on some sort of patch that i think will get rid of the horizontal scroll bar on IE.
- i am now developing background images to match the layout.
- i'm going crazy.

im also using mozilla firefox. no problems here. it would be nice though if you revert back to the haloscan comment pop ups instead of using blogger's proprietary comment system? although i may be mistaken here since i dont know the iner workings of blogger. --

looks good to me elb.. i'm on explorer. ur patch must be working fine since there's no horizontal bar.

umm.. i think tho, you should stick to the blogger commenting system. i had a bad experience with haloscan before.. i lost some of my comments. :P i think the blogger commenting system is more reliable.. it is, after all, theirs. so it has to work. right?

:D

glad to hear things are ok so far. in any case, i have to admit that i like haloscan's popup commenting system better than blogger's, but...

i switched because, like kaye, i noticed that my older comments on haloscan simply disappeared. i'm not sure exactly what the reason is, but it seems old posts somehow just go away, never to be seen again. i switched to blogger's proprietary system for the same reason kaye mentioned - it's gotta work because it is, after all, made specifically for blogspot, by blogspot.
