:: Bomb! ::

A stampede in ULTRA earlier today left at least 73 dead and 322 injured. Some 20,000 people, many of whom had camped out for days, were waiting to enter the stadium when rumors of a bomb threat incited panic. Authorities later concluded that the bomb threat was not real, but a prank pulled by somebody trying to get into the stadium sooner.
Impatient idiot, or idiots, whatever the case may be - I almost wish that person were trampled in that stampede. In a 20,000 strong mob, tracking the moron who cried wolf is pretty much impossible. The only possible consolation, at least in my head, is the possibility that that idiot's face is now pretty much unrecognizable. That would be poetic justice - probably the only justice that might come out of this tragedy. I don't particularly like the idea of wishing anybody harm, but this person just might deserve it.
No, I doubt there was real malice, but somebody that idiotic deserves... I don't know. I'm just at a loss for words.
All I have in my head now are these words from Men in Black: "A 'person' is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it." In this case, one person thought he was being smart. I'm sure at least 300 people will beg to differ.
